Welcome to our holiday home tour! If this is your first time stopping by, my name is Courtney and I live with my husband, 3 boys and 2 golden retrievers in a split level home that we have completely renovated ourselves in NJ. We love spending time in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate NY and much of our rustic lodge Christmas decor reflects that. There is a fire in the fireplace and the hot chocolate is ready, come on in...
Just inside our front door is a small entryway. (I wrote individual holiday posts about most of the rooms on this tour so click on the links for more pictures and sources.)
The french doors off the entryway lead to our family room. The stone fireplace in this room makes it the coziest spot in our home.
This year, our Christmas mantel is a mix of rustic and traditional with a round mirror, birch logs, antlers and some mercury glass votives mixed in for some sparkle and shine.
For our most recent project, we added some planking to this family room wall and created a winter themed gallery wall.
Next, let's head upstairs to the kitchen, the heart of our home, especially at Christmas.
I added some garland and mercury glass ornaments to the chandelier in our dining area.
I made the cookie cutter wreath hanging over this sink and wrote a tutorial about how I did it.
Our living room and kitchen are now one open space after removing a couple of walls. This seems to be the place everyone ends up gathering in our home.
Upstairs in our master bedroom and bathroom, we also like to decorate for the holidays.
Outside, we have already had our first snow of the season, which always adds to the Christmas spirit.
Our dog, Forrest, stands watch in the front yard in his plaid fleece jacket.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy Holidays to you from our family!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous Courtney- I love all the hits of red and white. So perfect for the holidays! I hope you and your family enjoyed an amazing Christmas together:-)
ReplyDeleteI know this is an older post, but keep coming back to your GINGERBREAD pillow and your BEDROOM QUILT. Even if they are no longer available, could you tell me where you found such things? I've been on a 20 year hunt for THE QUILT that I won't get sick of, and HERE IT IS.
ReplyDeleteHi Heather! The Gingerbread pillow was from H&M Home that year and my bedroom quilt is called the Multi Star patchwork quilt from Pottery Barn. Pottery Barn no longer sells it, but I do see it on eBay occasionally. Hope that helps!
DeleteI love the JOY sign made out of pallets... is there a place on your site that you give the directions to make? If not, what size are the pallet parts, what size letters? Is it made in three parts? How are they attached? Do they come apart to store? Thank you so much for any information.
ReplyDeleteThis was quite the tour. Would love to dress up my new with vacation houses inspired decors and always feel relaxed in our own abode.
ReplyDeleteabsolutely beautiful Christmas home tours. Thank you for sharing and inspiring me!!
