Happy Holidays, friends! I'm excited to share some of pictures of our home decorated for the holidays this year. I've been taking my time so I'm still not completely done but I thought I'd share some today.
Let's start in our Christmas kitchen. I decided to go with an ice skating theme in here after finding the ice skaters printable on Etsy. I love a good New England village with skating pond and still dream of living near one someday! Until then, I will continue enjoying art and puzzles that depict those scenes.I decided to go with a garland over the kitchen windows this year. I started with a full garland from Hobby Lobby and then layered in some gingham ribbon and berries and cluster rice lights. Over the island, the vintage sled has returned with packages wrapped in Jenny Steffen Hobick's beautiful wrapping paper.I almost skipped it but then decided I couldn't go a year without our small kitchen tree. I've been collecting these kitchen themed ornaments for years and added a couple to my collection from Target this year.
We switched our dining room and living rooms last winter and we love this arrangement. This little sitting area just off our kitchen is a favorite spot to gather. As our kids have grown, so has our family with the addition of their girlfriends and I love having their energy surrounding me in the kitchen.
We painted the fireplace and bookshelves in Calke green by Farrow and Ball last year and I love the richness the green adds to our home.
