They were having a huge 40% off all furniture sale and that was in addition to their already marked down outlet prices. Much of their occasional furniture is new in the box so it isn't damaged in any way. When I saw the Tivoli console table, I knew it would be coming home with us. I have often admired this table in the PB catalog, but never wanted to pay full price ($699). We ended up paying $288.
A console table is such a versatile piece and I love the size (it is long!) and finish on this one. This is one of those pieces that I know we will have with is for the long haul because it won't go out of style. The hardest part was deciding where to place it in our family room. It is currently on our planked gallery wall. Next, I will probably try it out as a sofa table behind our large Ikea sofa.
The glass hurricane with the white candle was my only other purchase that day. It has an open space under the candle that I plan to place some things we collect from the woods on one of our hikes (acorns and pinecones). There are a few things that Pottery Barn does really well in my opinion. I often admire their glassware. And the finish on their distressed wood furniture is usually beautiful and not something I have seen re-created in a DIY project.
Have you found any great deals on furniture lately? Have you been to a Pottery Barn Outlet? I only wish we had one closer. Or maybe not. That could be dangerous to my wallet!
Oh you lucky dog. That's a gorgeous table with a nice price!!! PB is such a quality place. This table will last forever!
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura. I agree, this is one of those pieces that I know will stand the test of time. Not trendy. Have a great weekend!
DeleteI have always loved that table! What a steal! It really does look perfect in that spot and I am quite impressed that you have it styled and in place so quickly. I haven't been to one of their outlets yet but I think there is one in Pennsylvania that would be closer to me - but still it's probably 2 hours away, ugh. Enjoy your gorgeous new purchase!

Hi Shelly,
DeleteYes, there is a PB Outlet near Lancaster. I was there once when we were on a vacation near there to ride on Thomas the Tank Engine when my boys were younger (the good old days!). If you are ever anywhere near one, it is worth the trip. Especially if you are in the market for furniture. I thought of you because they had a lot of dining tables. Have a great weekend!
Hi Courtney,
ReplyDeleteI had to crack up with your post today. I have always loved that console too. Wow and to get it for that price. I am so jealous. We do not have pottery barn outlets in Chicago area. I wish we did. Sounds like you can get some great deals. Happy Friday. Have a great week end.
Kris

DeleteThat looks SO NICE! Really love the table and your decorating/accessorizing. Wish I had a PB outlet closer.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I wish I had one closer too. There just don't seem to be many PB outlets out there.
DeleteThank you so much for your very kind words and I am so glad you find comfort here. Sending love !
ReplyDeleteSo sad that this table is no longer available at Pottery barn....too bad they don’t bring it back, they would sell tons of them.
