The Smells of the Holiday Season & A Giveaway

Even though it isn't quite Thanksgiving yet, we are in full holiday decorating mode in our house this week.  I look forward to this season all year long and I have been planning our decor for weeks.  Even before we bring that first box of holiday stuff from the attic, I begin adding scents to our home with holiday candles and wax melts.  Nothing gets me into the holiday spirit quite like the smells of the season do.

I love the warmth and atmosphere a burning candle adds to my home, but I also enjoy the option of using wax melts in an electric warmer to diffuse fragrance slowly.

    My decorating begins the day after Thanksgiving. By then I've been to several craft shows and am ready to put out my newest decor finds. I'd love to try these candles to bring some woodland into my home! Thanks

    If I am hosting Thanksgiving dinner then I wait until the day after otherwise I will start the week before Thanksgiving to start decorating.

    Always right after Thanksgiving.... But... sometimes, I will sneak in some new scents... beforehand.... just to get in the "mood" ... lolol... Christmas music & scents... :)

    With my daughter hosting Thanksgiving at her home I can start my decorating early for Christmas. I love the candle melts too. Nice to have them going all day without the worry of a candle burning. Have fun getting your home ready for the holidays. I know it will look spectacular.     I usually start the day after thanksgiving.this year it will probably be on Saturday and it will take days...hubby does the heavy lifting and I do the "placing" and packing away of fall. hope you have a great thanksgiving and thanks for the giveaway!

    I'm planning to put my tree up the day after Thanksgiving this year. This is the first year with an artificial tree so I'm hoping it will look as nice as the real one. I always worry about the tree drying out. I would love to win your giveaway!

    I have been "digging" some of my Christmas decor out already, but have not started with decorating any of the rooms yet. I will be more excited to do so, when we get a little snow on the ground, which here in WI, is suppose to happen this week. Love the smell of a good candle on a cold winter day, well, I love the fragrance of them anytime, really. Thanks for the chance to win this give away.

    The Friday after Thanksgiving our home changes from Fall to Christmas. We don't trim the trim though until that Sunday. Christmas music in the background and a wonderful Christmas smelling candle gets me in the mood!!

    The Christmas decor bins were brought down from the attic last weekend and decorating begins today!
