Spring Living Room

Happy first day of spring!  We are expecting a few inches of snow this afternoon and they have already called for an early dismissal from school today.  So I am focusing on the inside of our house, where there are many signs of spring.  And hopefully any snow we get today we get today will melt tomorrow when some warmer temperatures return.

My favorite bit of spring decor this season is this collection of small green glass bottles on our pine hutch.  I have been collecting them the last few months and using them to display flower arrangements.  But, I found this silver tray that belonged to my grandmother when we were cleaning out our basement and I thought the green glass would look pretty in front of it.  I like the shiny bottles and tray against the rustic pine background.

I found this yellow Ethan Allen chair with a blue bee print at a garage sale in upstate NY last summer for $20.  It had been in a corner of our bedroom, but I like the added pop of yellow for spring in our living room.  

The bunny topiary I made with the Target Dollar Spot styrofoam bunny sits in a basket tray (Target Smith and Hawken) on our Ikea hack coffee table.

I love these ceramic painted bunnies that my mom gave me years ago.  I take them out every year.
