We are just back from a beautiful weekend of leaf peeping in Upstate NY and Vermont. Every year, I am amazed at the beauty of the fall foliage up there. This year, especially, the colors are so incredibly bright. The weather was gorgeous. We had 3 picture perfect days. As usual, I took plenty of pictures. The following pictures were taken in Vermont in and around Middlebury....
We stopped off to pick some apples at our favorite farm.
There were lots of ripe varieties to choose from.
These cows have quite a view! This farm overlooks Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mts.
There's just something that screams classic Autumn about a school bus, right?
Next, we headed to the quaint college town of Middlebury, VT for lunch.
The Otter Creek runs through Middlebury.
Finally, we headed back into NY over the picturesque Champlain Bridge. I will post some pictures of the Adirondacks later this week.
Stunning! I have always wanted to visit Vermont...especially in the fall. Thanks for the mini tour. I can almost smell the leaves and taste the cider. :)

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pics. I just love the Northeast in the fall. Apple picking, pumpkin patches, leaves turning. It's such a great time of year :)
