Which reminded me of one of my favorite Frost poems...
This is the what I was referring when I came up with the name Golden Boys. I want to document as much as I can about my boys while they are growing up because I know this time is fleeting.
It is also a play on words that we had 1 Golden Retriever at the time I started blogging. Now we have two. Since Golden Retrievers are my favorite breed of dog, it seems like I really love gold. Not gold jewelry though. Jewelry is just not my thing :)
And that's the story of the name of this blog.
This is gonna sound silly, but I remember that poem from The Outsiders. Great post!

I have 2 boys 16 months apart between 2 girls, 10 yrs. apart. Love your dogs too, they're so cute, I am partial to Golden retrievers also but have a black lab/border collie. Adopted him from a PetSmart adoption fair day. Are your dogs boys too?
